AI currently make inventions and handle exploits and code in limited programming languages at a good level with the massive potential to apply it at Scale(if the energy needs could be met without hurting societies).

In the future, it’s expected that AI will be more efficient and more capable. which open the door for limitless use cases.

With all of that being said, AI will need to break the current world order in it’s current form in order to shine. Some jobs are expected to face lower demand and a minor amount of jobs will simply vanish due to AI.

Universities will have to become more efficient and will have to change to deal with AI in and out of the university(for students, staff and to compete with other education methods utilizing AI).

I think programming will change too.

The biggest concern for me is how it’s going to be used in authoritarian regimes; how it’s going to manipulate people at scale and how it’s going to make it easier to violate people privacy in very cheap manner online and offline.

Overall, I think it will really need to break the current world to create a better one. This will need management and legislation to not turn the world into bad place.

This will need management and legislation to not turn the world into bad place.

I think this is the key piece. Management and Legislative bodies don’t currently care one whit about people. They only care about money and power so dystopia really seems like the path we’re on.

It will take a massive shift or some major cataclysmic revolutions to change that path.
