      Ideal body fat percantage for women between 20 - 30 y/o is about 25%. For a 1,68 m woman a usual weight is about 50-55 kg meaning about 12 kg of fat. Since gaining weight is usually about gaining fat, gaining 18 kg is more than doubling your ideal body fat percentage. People tend to forget how light (voluminous) fat is. A big chung of animal lard weighs surprisingly little, less than a chug of water of the same size. 18 kg of fat is huge, think more than one of those office water dispenser canisters in size.

        Yeah, makes sense. But I also think we don’t know the starting point here and that’s what important - one won’t become “legit lard” by gaining 18 kg, starting from 50 kg at 1,68 m, but if starting point was ~65 kg - then yeah.
