I monitor covid in wastewater. For a couple of years now levels have dipped mid to late may and then come back up late June. Covid is endemic now and just as present as the flu or norovirus. It will circulate for the rest of our lives, and probably the lives of our grand children.

The article says older or immunocompromised people should get two vaccines, but it doesn’t explain what it means. Two in total? Two every year? I get one every year with the flu shot. 💉
