I actually never watched the rebuild movies, kinda back to watching anime recently with that smoking cat one so should make the jump to EVA after
I recently rewatched the series and then the rebuild movies for the first time. The series still holds up. The rebuild movies don’t. The series was sort of a parody of shonen power fantasies which the rebuild movies became.
The red one is definitely the Motorola Chocolate, even though it was black with red highlights.
