Fifth? We’ve had one and its last 12 weeks so far. I can’t remember what rain feels like.
Yeah, at a certain point it stops being a “wave” of anything and just becomes the weather. It’s partially semantics but it also feels intentionally phrased to keep people from accepting that patterns are shifting in real time.

I’m sick of this heat, but due to my Britishness, when it cools down and starts raining all the time I’ll complain about that too.
