In france we do, it’s like a little bit more luxurious youghurt. Smoother. You can eat two no problemo, a normal cheap youghurt will be too acidic in the end. Maybe it’s a bit of cream? It has more fat IIRC.

I ate two an hour ago ☺️.

The last four cups of yogurt

    Vs

The first eight cups of yogurt

Always get sick of it or stop caring too fast

Greek yoghurt used to be good when it started to be ‘a thing’. Now it’s just white paste with too much added starch. I’ve also seen there’s a light version now, which completely defies the original purpose of greek yoghurt being a yoghurt made of milk with the full cream content. I’ve returned to normal yoghurt, since the ‘greek’ in the name seems to be used to fuck up what used to be a nice natural product.

Not America, southern Europe. I’ve noticed a subtle change in quality throughout the years.

No, not really. I suspect the term ‘greek yoghurt’ is not protected and the product is going the way of gradual enshittification as other food products have in recent years, at least as much as EU legislation permits. And often us poors in the south will get to experience this a few years earlier. But I don’t know for sure. Maybe my taste buds are getting pickier with age?
