According to the linked thread the mod was banned for genocide denial which is a pretty standard practice across Lemmy. Either make your case that genocide denial should not be a bannable offense or remove the offending mod.

This has the effect of removing the communities you moderate too, otherwise they wouldn’t be moderated from our side.

The premise of the post is that all the art contributed to
