Strong narcissists believe what they say when they say it. They are constantly unconsciously creating a personal narrative about the world in which they are winning and the best. It’s not about effort or honesty or stupidity. He’s just sick.

But now he’s also old, so he can’t even speak coherently. That’s brain degradation on top of narcissism.
