I can’t imagine that a foreign power backing a private company to roll into Yellowstone and start drilling because they said they’d inherited the rights from a different private company they bought who had permission from years ago, would go down too well in the US?

This should be treated as the beginning of establishing a beachhead from which to usurp the sovereignty of Greenland. They should absolutely be removed, immediately. You also need to find out if you even can remove them and if not, rectify that immediately.
