        Lemmy needs 15 more like this with cross-eyed people with pitchforks instead of a mod.

        I’d heard about one of the big cults but it took until this week to realize that the same community names can exist on many instances and be tied together, I had been thinking I was replying to something in a normal community without realizing it was the insano version of that community.

        It’s like several instances have managed to gather a bunch of people crazy about the same topic in the same way together.

        If you accidentally wear a blue shirt and walk into a post from one of the instances where they all think red shirts are a sign of justice and love and blue shirts are only for people who like torturing infants you’re going to have a bad day.

        Sort of funny to say something small and non-offensive and get 30 replies screaming that you’re hateful and you should die.

      I suspect some part of it is reddit infiltration designed to push people off lemmy

        The other day I typed out a huge post for the Mental Health sub. Mod removed it claiming it was AI. I made another post trying to politely question that since it sure as fuck wasn’t, so he permanently banned me for “medical misinformation.”

        Like… why? I get that mods are volunteers, but why would you volunteer if you’re that much of a piece of shit? It’s like some of them can only get hard if they can tell themselves people aren’t allowed to talk unless they say they can.

            Thanks. I’d love for you to tell me how someone can write something long and detailed that uses big words and attempts to use formatting to break it up in to sections to make it easier to read without idiots saying it looks like AI.

    This is giving me flashbacks to when I got banned from r/CapitalConsequences for arguing that the Democratic party establishment was too weak to ever put Republican leadership in prison, that their weakness would lead to an even worse president than Trump, and that a bunch of the J6 convictions would get pardoned. The only things I got wong were that Trump would be that President, and that he would pardon all of them.
