I disagree with this. It’s similar to stopping a political movement that wants to limit free speech. Yes it limits free speech because the alternative is the complete destruction of free speech.

Why would you need to stop a movement that wants to limit free speech? Just make a countermovement, and make sure their movement doesn’t win enough votes to pass. No censorship or regulation necessary
That only works when the majority isn’t working to attack a minority.
