Firstly, I apologise for the ignorance, as I’m quite new to this stuff.

So I wanted to check if I was under CGNAT or not, so I checked the status page on my D-link router settings (Router model: DIR-825). But in the WAN section, it instead shows this:

MAC Address :

Local address :

Subnet Mask :

Peer address :

Primary DNS Server :

Secondary DNS Server :

In order to check for CGNAT, the online guides require me to check for my WAN IP Address, but it’s not showing up on here. Which one of these is actually going to be my WAN IP Address?

There’s another way to check for CGNAT. Go to one of those sites that tells you your public IP like: https://www.whatismyip.com

Now open a command window and do a traceroute to that address.

    tracert www.xxx.yyy.zzz

If the traceroute completes in one hop, you do not have CGNAT. If it’s 2 hops, the first one is your CGNAT address and the 2nd is your shared public IP.
