I’m curious - why do you pick iPhone compared to other smartphone brands? (Google Pixel, Samsung, OnePlus, etc.)

(I’m also going to be asking in other phone subs, hope this survey goes well)

Well, it sure isn’t for Siri!

I have an iPhone 13 Pro and a Samsung Galaxy S23 (not the Ultra model). I switch between them almost weekly. Both have their plusses and minuses. For me, the iPhone takes better, more natural looking pictures and records video without the first half second jitter the S23 often suffers from.

I prefer Apple Maps’ visuals and voice over Google Maps, but Google Maps has more accurate directions and tons more reviews and user photos (since Apple continues to rely on Yelp!). Apple tends to stick with an idea or an application for the long term, perfecting it along the way. Google branches out in all directions and sometimes loses sight of what its customers want. Choosing an iPhone means you get continued support and predictability for several years. Choosing an Android phone means you get bleeding edge tech, apps and experiences that may or may not be available in the future.
