Blue heron watching for fishies. Look closely, it’s right foot is missing at what I would assume is its ankle. Its is most likely human caused via fishing line. It happens pretty often sadly.

Sometimes herons find there way up here to the northeast and you’ll see them by a pond near my home. Big birds.
They really are big birds. I’m a dainty 5’10” and they stand between belly button and chest height on me.
