      The line has to be somewhere. Such a black and white rule can really be left up to the machines yeah.

    you know what we should be talking about here? look at how close this offside decision was via computer, and the assistant referee got it right in real time. that is absolutely incredible.

    i don’t trust automation. i prefer a referee on UAE or Qatar payroll to draw them by hand.

    Insanely close, looked onside in the replay. Props to the UEFA VAR team though, the English refs would’ve taken 5+ minutes and still got it wrong.

    Typical of all the dumbos on r/soccer to beg for automated offside in domestic leagues, then cry when it’s correctly used in Europe.
