On Monday, January 6, 2025, hundreds of protesters, including healthcare workers, medics, and New Yorkers, marched from NYU Tisch Hospital to Union Square, joining the global call to end violence against Gaza’s medical facilities. The “Sick from Genocide” protest demanded an end to the bombing of Gaza’s hospitals and the immediate release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya and over 450 healthcare workers abducted by Israeli forces.
