For context: The Iliad and the Odyssey are two of the eight epics in the Epic Cycle. Unfortunately, the exact lines of the other six are mostly lost to history. The chronological order:
- Cypria, 2) Iliad, 3) Aethiopis, 4) Little Iliad, 5) Ilioupersis, 6) Nostoi, 7) Odyssey, 8) Telegony
It is widely considered that the plot of the Telegony is quite bizarre, and it contained story elements that can be classified as borderline incest.
