We got a call from the local animal rescue. They needed help for the night, with 5 kittens, until they could be relocated to a more lasting foster family. We couldn’t have them linger because if a planned trip in a few weeks.

Serious question: When you’re fostering, how do you not bond with them and want to keep them?
that is referred to as a foster-fail. not such a bad thing as the foster pet gets a forever home.
Foster-fail, it happens so often it has a specific name!
This is one of the big reasons I work with wild animals - that option is never on the table! 😁
