Yes. For one thing, we have Reform in place in Suffolk, since the others didn’t run a full campaign, on the basis that it was all going to be unitary within 24 months. Now they will be there for the full term.
So the councils which have spent vast sums of public money they can’t afford to prepare for this now have to spend more money on another scenario.
Is this regional devolution?
Not for Surrey though ☹️ we are going to become a great example of why this won’t work.
