also, this is my first time making a meme in Inkscape, since I usually have WPS Office (basically an off-brand of PowerPoint iydk) for the job, and after I compared the two programs with eachother, I decided that I kind of want to try Inkscape for this type of stuff more, since that program has way more advanced features than that other program, so yeah! Let this be a sneak peek of how things are going to be with my memes in the near-future, and I hope you guys would like to see more types of that stuff, so stay tuned! ;D
well Inkscape is free & open source, unlike CorelDRAW, which requires over $500 to even have full access to which I dont even want to waste my sweet sweet cash on, so fuck u corporate overlords, u aint takin mah money >:P
Luckily in my case work pays for it. Otherwise I’d be using Inkscape full time. I ain’t made of money.
I use Inkscape as well, though. Different tools have their uses. $500 or not, Corel is still rotten at disassembling PDF files. Honestly, I have no idea how it’s still so awful at it after all these years. Inkscape is much better at that.
agreed. LONG LIVE OPEN-SOURCE SOFTWARE BC THEYRE MUCH MORE WELL-MADE THAN ANY PAID SOFTWARE AND THEY ARENT RUN BY GREEDY ASSHOLES WHO SIT ON THEIR THRONES OF MONEY 24/7, SO HA! still fuck u 2 these corporate overlords >:P
LibreOffice Draw is also great for that task
