Jokes aside I’ve been ASTOUNDED at how far we have regressed on racism, sexism, and general homophobia. I did not think a change in president would matter that much, and it doesn’t really, but all the worst fucking people we knew who had been shamed into silence (for good reason!) have let the mask off in the last 10 years and it’s now starting to normalize it again for the younger generation. It’s so gross to watch unfold in real time.
