99% of people can look attractive with makeup and the right outfit. It’s just that the naturally pretty folks don’t have to put effort into it.

We’re gonna need a definition of “attractive” to work with here.
But you can’t tell what the second two look like at all, and they have excellent cosplay. So the initial pitch that you need to be attractive to cosplay is objectively wrong.
Well, the last one is skinny with at least slightly toned legs. Maybe they don’t have a good looking face, but they’re definitely fit, which is 50% of the way there. The second one is really the only one who could have anything going on underneath.
Skinny with slightly toned legs does not equal fit.
