    The issue with democrats is they don’t listen to their voters. We are not a democracy. I wish you all would just get a clue.

      You ARE a democracy. The kind of democracy where the people can choose the face of the bourgeois dictatorship. As material conditions worsen, the contradictions your fellow workers in the global south had to suffer from are coming home. Of course USians won’t like the taste of their own medicine, so steps into the direction of fascism have to be taken to ensure to stability of ownership. Luckely liberal democracies prepare for this by making sure that police, military and all the rest of the executive got their power in advance, under the guise of security.

      While it looks dire in the west, there is a hope called socialism.
