About the Role: Honda Development & Manufacturing of America is seeking a Senior ADAS Test Engineer in Raymond, OH. You will lead development, vehicle calibration, and track testing for next-generation Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicle controls across Honda and Acura platforms.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead development, calibration, and proving-ground validation of ADAS control software and vehicle dynamics. • Author functional software requirements for CAN interfaces, self-diagnostics, and failsafe detection routines. • Partner with system suppliers and global engineering teams in Japan to integrate ADAS hardware and software. • Perform vehicle instrumentation, data acquisition, and root cause failure analysis on test track anomalies. • Research emerging autonomous vehicle sensor technologies and benchmark competitor active safety systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Controls Engineering. • 5+ years of automotive engineering experience, specifically in ADAS calibration or vehicle dynamics control. • Deep understanding of vehicle dynamics, steering control, CAN bus protocols, and Vector CAN tools (CANalyzer/CANape). • Valid driver’s license with clean record to operate prototype test vehicles on proving grounds. • Strong technical presentation and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
