Basis — my knowledge of what did different political factions of Russia think about the peace treaty of Brest-Litovsk.
Top — Lenin, who insisted on signing the treaty.
Left — Trotsky, who wasn’t willing to sign the treaty right away and thus have contributed to the prolongation of the war.
Right — the idea of being loyal to the allies was popular among the non-Bolshevik Russian intelligencia, but I didn’t know which of the non-imperialist of them to pick, so so I’ve picked Nikolai Avksentiev — one of the leaders of the Right-SRs.
Far Left — “left to Lenin” people didn’t want the deal. To represent them, I’ve picked Buharin (Bolshevik), Dzerzhinsky (Bolshevik) and Spirodonova (Left-SR).
Far Right — imperialists who’ve seen the deal as an act of treason or something. To represent them, I’ve picked Milyukov (liberal imperialist from the Kadet Party) and Kolchak (wasn’t a political leader when the treaty was signed, but became famous a bit later + he was hungry for fighting on — as far as I know, for that reason he’ve attempted to join the British army: to keep personally participating in WWI).
