I’m finally trying to get all my Doctor Who into Plex but the bonus features are driving me crazy.

For example in Season 7 there’s a bonus video called “Down to Earth”

Nothing I do can make it show up in Plex. I’ve tried S00E01 - Down To Earth.mkv

I’ve tried “Down to Earth -featurette.mkv”

I’ve tried \DoctorWho (1963)\Featurettes\Down to Earth.mkv

If I name it S00E01.mkv and put in into \DoctorWho (1963)\Specials it shows up but its labeled wrong. There are dozens of bonuses for each Season so I don’t wan to have to fix every one.

      Yeah I checked and couldn’t find any dvd bonus features there. Is there a category I’m not seeing?

    Yeah some of the episode ordering for Plex can be clunky, because of the way it pulls metadata. Follow what Zachariah said, but also verify that Plex is using the metadata from the source you find the episode ordering from in the shows settings. For example here’s how some of the specials I have for the 2005 series show up, the numbers skip around a lot but Plex will still play them in their proper order if watching the series all the way through

    Try throwing it into Doctor Who (1963)/Season 7/Featurettes/ instead of the root show folder. Also name it “Down to Earth.mkv”

    Edit: I’m not finding a S00 listed for this, so it’s probably specific to whatever DVD distributor made it. It’ll be a custom file with no episode matching

      Tried it and didn’t work.

      The frustrating part is that when I started organizing and renaming trying everything Google suggested, I had Plex show the bonus tracks in the season directory. But then I tried putting them all in a /Featurette folder and in all the renaming attempts I couldn’t get it back to working like I got one season working.

      So I know if I name it right like s00Exx or -featurette or something I can have them in seperate seasons. They’re not labeled right by Plex but its better than not showing up at all.

      I also got it somewhat working by putting them in /Doctor Who (1963)/Specials. But each has to be renamed to match themoviedb.org episode number.
