I feel like excuse time is over for this team. We figure out how to field an offense or else we aren’t doing shit in the playoffs anyway.

Yup I feel if they can get into sync they have a chance but the time is running out for it to click. Off to a good start tho.

Alright Mahomes is part of the problem this year. I’m sure he’ll be back next year but I can’t keep him free from blame anymore.

While everyone has their issues, I think we saw a lot of issues with Mahomes that were caused from pressing when other people don’t make the plays they should, drop balls, or have penalties. I think if half of the issues this year don’t occur ( penalties, drops, etc), we don’t see a lot of the Mahomes issues.

Oh absolutely agree. Mahomes is still an elite player, but this year he’s playing at an A level instead of clear best at the position.

The oline and WR issues are for sure the bigger part of the problem. But even with those if Mahomes made just a few less mistakes a game the Chiefs are probably still in 1st seed contention.

Mahomes isn’t the problem, and what he has brought the team is undeniable. He’s just not above criticism and there’s a few fumbles and interceptions that were his fault that changed games.

With a better oline and WR he can be human and the team still find success. This year he has to be perfect is what I’m trying to say.
