To be honest I have plenty of games in my backlog to play. Buuuut if there are any really good deals on Tunic, Pizza Tower, Tetris Effect or Cult of the Lamb I maybe consider them.

I should probably reduce my backlog first though…

Got cult of the lamb in the last sale. Was really fun and ran well. A bit repetitive with managing the cult in my opinion. But there is an option to stop time while you are on crusade (and cooking without minigane. With that it was worth it :)

Same. I’m playing Watch Dogs Legion right now, gonna finish the main story before I choose another game.

I’d say get WD2 over Legion. It’s the best one out of the three.

While Legion has some interesting mechanics, it kinda feels half-baked. Didn’t grip me as well as WD2 did. Unless you want a snarky British digital assistant talking to you (and I mean that endearingly), then absolutely get Legion.

Thanks! Have you tried WD2 on Steam Deck? I’ve just had a look at the ProtonDB page and there seem to be some issues (crashing due to a memory leak?)

As someone who doesn’t play a lot of AAA games, it’s legitimately gripping. Enough that I bought it on both PS5 and PC/Deck. Granted it was on sale both times.

Hoping for a sale on Tunic. I picked it up on my Switch but honestly have been far happier with Deck performance of games I have on both platforms that I’d rather go through it on the Deck

Oh darn. Since I have a Steam Deck I’ve been wishlisting games like a mad man. It’s going to hard to not buy new games. One of the reasons I got a Deck is that I want to clear out by backlog.

Depends what’s on sale - but I’ll buy Baldur’s Gate 3 soon or at release, maybe Starfield too depending on performance.

I’d really love a game that’s playable on the Steam Deck on the TV though, Rocket League and SpeedRunners has been great for this. Even moreso if it has local multiplayer.

BattleBit Remastered has been really fun with M+KB recently (and they backed down on the anti-Linux anticheat for now), I wish there were something similar for sports games just focussing on fun over realism, like the old SNES football and hockey games. Something like Mario Strikers but where you manage a team and their stats and abilities, etc.

I’ll be honest, I own so many games from the last sale that I’m probably going to sit this one out. I have something like 140 games, and of those the majority are on my backlog, so I won’t be running out any time soon.

I am playing it right now! It was at 20% sale a few days ago. Don’t know if it’ll get even more discounted later.

It is nearly perfect for the deck. I only have a small grievance with moving things in the inventory. It takes a long while to step through the slots. But maybe I’m doing something wrong.

I’ll buy the Dock if it’s on sale. I might actually buy it anyways but might as well wait one day to see if I can save a few bucks.

I’ve put off buying it since honestly it feels a bit overpriced since you can get a hub that does pretty much the same job for 20€.

I bought a 3rd party “Deck Dock” that works perfectly fine for 30€ or so.

Alright that’s decent enough price. While you can get 3rd party Dock pretty cheap, counting in shipping and the power adapter, it rounds up to 70€ for me. For 10€ more I can get first party support, that’s actually competitive value.

If Celeste goes on sale I’m gonna grab it again. Already bought it twice for switch and epic but will happily give them more money for a steam specific copy.

    Amazing platformer

It was being given away on Amazon Prime Gaming recently, not sure if it still is. Redeemed as a GOG code.

It’s an awesome sci-fi horror FPS/RPG, with stealth and metroidvania elements. It’s from Arkane, who made both Dishonored games.

The story and atmosphere are really good (don’t look up spoilers if you intend to play it), there are multiple ways of reaching your objectives, and multiple endings according to your choices. The graphics and design are really nice.

Not a big fan of horror games in general but it’s one of my favorite games of the last decade.

I haven’t played it on the Steam Deck, so I can speak to its performance, but I really enjoyed this game. It’s a whole lot of fun of you like mysterious, creepy games with some jump scares. I’d say its closest comparable is BioShock 1 & 2.

Infinite is a very different type of game than 1 & 2. I absolutely loved all 3 (1 and 3 more than 2 tbh). But if you really liked 1&2, you may not like infinite, and vice versa. 1&2 are dark and suspenseful. Infinite is well-lit and they stopped doing most of the jump scares. But the gameplay felt amazing and the story was a 10/10.

Probably can’t expect much of a sale since it’s still in early access, but Shadows of Doubt has captured my attention like few other games and I’m really looking for an excuse to pick it up.

There’s nothing else like it, even in its current early access state. Can’t wait to see where they go with it.
