    Ooo I didn’t know there’s a new Wes Anderson movie out there. May have to (*gasp*) go to an actual cinema for that

    I really just don’t care for his style. I’m glad we have it, I think it’s too rare to have directors that impart such a distinctive aesthetic, it just doesn’t suit me.

    But Tarantino is another one with a flair that’s immediately recognizable, what others come to mind for you guys?

      Terry Gilliam I think, you can spot one of his pretty quick.

      I agree about Wes Anderson too, all the films I’ve tried leave me very flat

      David Fincher is pretty phenomenal in my eyes. It’s easy to spot his desaturated and moody movies. Also really enjoyed Mindhunter.
