Not to be Captain Obvious nor to sound like I’m trying to tell you how to live your life. Please, figure out ways to be less isolated. Isolation is directly related to negative mental health experiences that can easily cause poor overall health. I am cheering for you and I want to ask that you come to these posts and keep us all informed. OK?

As far as I can see from the articles I’ve read, no.
Congratulations on that incredible achievement.

11·15 days agoWhoever has been paying attention to renewables knows that much better energy storage would help to solve intermittency. Personally, I’ve been fascinated with all the R&D being done in this field.

Politics@beehaw.org•‘I’m over the moon’: New York’s small business owners rejoice as Mamdani cuts red tape
10·16 days agoIt scares me just how corrupt the federal government is becoming. When I was very young there were very few mentions of wrongdoing. Now it is multiple times per week. If there are no consequences, then this will continue to worsen. The people of the US must start fighting this and NOT wait until there is no other choice (i.e. when there is nearly nothing left).
Hang in there. This is only temporary. I hope things work out far better than you expect.
I’m very happy that our efforts are paying off. I mean everyone involved with Beehaw including you.

Thirteen years ago, when my wife and I moved from southeast USA to northeast USA, we used Meetup. We would, basically, pick anything that looked remotely interesting. Going to all those meetups helped us to quickly find social things to do until we started making friends closer to home. Like your therapist, I encourage you to use it. Take care and keep us informed!
