      Yea, if NixOS hadn’t tempted me with all the good stuff people are saying about it, I’d probably have stayed with Arch.

          Mostly all the declarative package management. It sounds like there’s no way to ever have a missing dependency ever again, but in reality, 99% of the time the thing you’re trying to run isn’t in Nixpkgs and doesn’t have a shell.nix.
