The cool thing is that you can use a load of different apps for it. Want it to look like Discord? Use Element or Nheko. Like WhatsApp? FluffyChat. Want to use a Nintendo 3DS? Try Miitrix.
First, element call (or whatever the voice channel thing is called) is still in beta.
second, my friends wont switch until matrix is better than discord, which will probably take very long time (this depending on who you ask is either matrix issue or friend issue)
third, the way the rooms/servers work is too confusing, (people have to manually join the different rooms on a server, and not everything at once)
