I think the preferred term is CSAM now
Either term is considered acceptable apparently, as the material is still the same. Basically a homeless vs houseless debate.
But I hadn’t heard that term before! Thanks for telling me.
Ok, I had just seen people saying that they prefer using CSAM because it emphasizes that children can’t consent to that kind of material, if that makes sense
And no problem :)
Fun fact!: Reddit also hosts the account of Ghislane Maxwell, which she moderated the most popular subreddits like r/news and r/environment, Reddit also didn’t delete the posts where she defended pedophilia, instead when she was caught she purged all mentions of lowering the age of consent on her profile.
What the actual f**** Those tech bros are getting just absurdly evil
rrrrrrrrrreddit moment!

Spez, the current CEO was the moderator of R/Jailbait and was a vocal supporter of defending the users ability to post children (many times even prepubescent) in suggestive positions, and poses, and to facility extremely sexual conversation about said children. He also let legitimate sexual abuse material slip through the cracks constantly.
He also talked at length about how he wished to own slaves, and demonstrated a practically deranged and narcissistic view of himself and his position in the world due to his wealth.
@absentthereaper
I found this all creepier, when I realized that due to the nature of the sub, he would’ve been exposed to a lot more cp than normal. The creepy shit people see on that sub, is the more normal posts.
Yeah i also dont understand
Think Reddit’s CEO used to be a moderator for r/jailbait but I can’t remember what power mod fuckery applied to the CEO because it’s like ALL the power mods are on some type of fuckery
