Hey man this is for RPGs and TTRPGs, not a manifesto

I mean so what if we are divided, I don’t fully understand the reason for the post. We have in general decided to put this devide asside to work to a bigger goal. No matter what your thoughts are or where your lines are, that is what we have done and all bringing this up does is farther open a divide. This post does not seek understanding but seems to admonish, and gatekeep who is even alowed to have conversations about diet. That is in no way productive.

Agian we have by and large on lemmygrad (though not entirely) decided this divide is not one of the primary ones we will argue about.

China has been growing domestic production capability for decades now, and can probably out wait the US freezing them out longer than the US could survive that same freeze

I also do hope I dont need to pont this out, but every time they add something to one of these lists after its globaly popular with no real reason for it, it makes the lists less and less athoritative and more of a Joke … Remember how hard the US had to push to get some even NATO allies to stop using Hwaiwa for 5g… and now the US is more over extended.

If you think that the revolution was only held together by Castro then that is textbook Great Man Theory. There is more to a revolution than just its initator. We also have no proof of regime change in Venezula, the elected vice president is acting president, that is contenuing on the chain of command not a regime change, lets not just belive the US’s saying that Venezula is soly working for them, remember they have a not great hand, and where not ML before the smash and grab lets give them time to figure out how to play this.

I would be curious aswell to see where you are getting the pupularity reports for Cuba, or why you think Cuban’s who liberated themselves from the US, and still today in many cases have better health and education outcomes than the Yanks would think the solution is rolling over to the force inflicting the harm. Lets not just count the Imperalists Chickens before they hatch… let alone are seen to be a real threat

I don’t know what you mean “allowed” there where quite a few casualties of Venezuelans and Cubans who where trying to prevent him from being taken.

Im not in Venezuela I dont onow the material conditions at present, not the local attitude. What I do know is that the US more or less has a gun to Venezuelas head, they have the president, the US provides oil revenue as allowance, and rumors has it they have issued death threats to tue leadership. I am not sure that Venezuela would realisticly be able to refuse one way or the other. Reguardless of if they are loyal to the revolution or not. May I also add that we are not even 6months from that event and we are declaring Venezuela lost? Because we get selective news coverage? Even the most loyal to the revolution government, assuming they had a level of pragmatism would need time to regroup and get any level of breathing room.

When Deng opened up China, a move well applauded especially with hindsight, I get the feeling that a not insignificant amount of people here would declare it tratorous to the revolution.

Give Venezuela some time and breathing room to manoeuvr, and to show there colors, right now they dont have the strongest hand so they would be playing for survival, until they can do something. I get it we want to know now, but wr cannot possibly know right now, there wasn’t a coup atleast on the normal and expected sense, where the government is replaced, but the leader was taken. Give them time to be able to show what they will do
