  • Oh, yeah, I’m not convincing myself that sustained change will come from this, but it did change for a minute, and that’s the point. They know how to behave, and when forced to, they will, but we also know they’ll go right back to being shitheads, first chance they get.

So we just have to stay on them, keep legislating against them, keep regulating them. Mostly we have to slap them down when they start talking back, and acting like they are more important than the rest of us. They are not, we are.

We citizens are the reason this nation exists, not the wealthy. The wealthy are here to serve US, not the other way around. If their corporations aren’t serving the American people, and if in fact they are damaging American interests and society, the Oligarch in charge should be imprisoned, their company should be confiscated, and operated by those who will prioritize responsibly.

Shareholders will unhappily lose their investments, and in the future they will learn to encourage their CEOs to behave within the law and reasonable society.

  • That give you 14 days to devote to a different Sociopathic Oligarch. The fact that you aren’t, makes me sick. Those Sociopathic Oligarchs deserve your back-breaking labor, they have expensive lifestyles, and it’s your patriotic obligation to indulge them, and work until you die an early, penniless death from a malady that is easily treatable with basic health care that you can’t afford.

  • In America, they have the big profit margin, AND they still have up charges for everything else. It’s the American way.

Years ago, before everybody had a printer with a scanner, I went into an office supply store to have a document scanned. They charged me $10, scanned my document, returned my document, and said Thank You.

I asked for a copy of my scan, but that was another $15. I had assumed that the original $10 also included a copy of the scan on some form of media, but No, the $10 was just to scan it into their computer. It was another $15 to take it home with me.

BTW, I spoke with the manager, who acted like I was being totally unreasonable to assume that paying $10 for them to scan a document they have no interest in into their computer was a weird thing to sell, and that ANYONE would assume that it includes a copy of the item you scanned. He eventually refunded my $10, and I got it done somewhere else.

That’s how things are done in America.
