Yay, one more smoky boy in the sky
ive filed a bug report with deka. the whole ground unit category “missile” does not have a radar footprint, as well as insurgent pickups. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/331767-ag-radar-returns-missing-for-some-units/
Yeah, you just have to be conservative with AB and keep up high.
The values in the sheet are very generous in terms of security margins etc. it’s usually no problem to stretch the loiter time a bit.
Unfortunately the Jeff is the only AG Radar capable module I have. I was planning to do a miz file and provide it so there can be comparable testing. Thinking about placing some set of targets in a lofi area of Caucasus to have nothing else giving radar returns in the vicinity of the targets. Can you explain in which luas to look? I could try.
Yeah the Jeff is really great. I am happy to have found an DCS air wing that sports a really active Jeff squadron. SP really is bleak
It’s from him:
First thought „yeah, no, wacky“. Upon watching „Very well made!“
Asking because on helo one is usually a bit closer to the weeds :)
deleting fxo and metashaders2 folder contents might help maybe, in case you didn’t try yet
Hm, i get pretty hard fps drops if i fly low over villages etc. on the marianas map.
I will check this next time i am flying. Are you on fixed wing or helo?
Oh, thats really not great. ED has so many issues with DCS that they really need to invest time in. Maybe F-16 gets a bit of attention in the next updates
It got some fixes,no? And DCS got faster and more stable again. Never had it crash so often until the update before this.
In Germany there is this net. But you still have to pay alimony.
Unfortunately I don’t have any other module capable of AG Radar. Maybe I hoped that someone would step up :)
thats a really good video.

So, one of the planes you really profit from creating own pre-sets for different situations beforehand and saving them. I didnt get it in preorder, but i think i will let a bunch of the upcoming videos make me buy it.
How does HRM affect your PC? I sounded like a big deal, especially as they implemented special options for it
But active communities are relied upon by thousands or even millions of users, and we have a duty to keep these spaces active.
Dont kill 3rd party apps then.
Those Grenades usually do have a safety function. It Fuse gets activated at a certain distance from the shooter. They measure the distance by counting the Spins the grenade did…
but…
The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn’t. By subtracting where it is from where it isn’t, or where it isn’t from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn’t, and arriving at a position where it wasn’t, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn’t, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn’t. In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn’t, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn’t. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was. The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn’t, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn’t, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn’t be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.

“New feature. Added F10 Map Coordinates Picker like in Mission Editor. Call it with LALT + Left Mouse click.“
I really really like that. And I could imagine that there are some DTC less f-18 and 16 drivers that like it, too.
