No, I can’t. Fucking… Is banana pudding a euphemism for something or has reddit gotten that awful??

Or walking out of the room.
No.
I am a good person with a capacity for kindness. The difference? It’s not reflex.
Nice is the guy waving you through at a stop sign when it’s their turn. Sure there’s good intention, but seriously? No.
That was a wild ride!
Guitar is the only hobby I acquired that never took. I wanted it to take, but did not have the funds to pursue lessons.
I could not get over the beginner hurdles of how to strum, how to really hold the pick, and so forth. If I could have taken lessons or gotten past that I might have learned and still be playing today instead of seeing the case just sitting there collecting dust.
They’ve been used twice, no charges, not fired. Not at my store.
Yeah, I don’t know, I think it’s nuts, and I hate that place, but somehow it’s made to work.
Lovely.
The company I work for has some of the general managers of stores carrying tasers.
I WANNA PLAY WITH THE MRAP!! But I’d… Like maybe not run over brown people with it, and instead use it as a force for good…?
Edit: or just fun.
My retirement plan is to die in the climate wars.
Have you tried less avocado toast and lattes…? /S
I had a former colleague called up to Minneapolis during that uprising. That seems to be what their understanding generally was. At one point, they were shot at. Returning fire was very much not on their minds, it was more making sure people were OK (no one was hurt).
Keep order was the idea.
Seemed the person shooting was basically trying to provoke them. It failed.

You missed Vladimir Putin and Pete Buttigieg!
On the anti-bird spikes. In the one small place I put them so that a nest wouldn’t be right at my door and mama bird would try to attack my toddler. Seriously, no spikes a few feet away, you’ll be fine. Nope. I know it’s instinct or something to nest in a certain place each time, but come on.
My skin doesn’t dry as easily. I no longer feel the need to lotion my hands all the time. Obviously, I drink water during the day but this was the change that started that.
Everything just felt healthier. I woke up more easily for my 6am start at work.
Before I started doing that, it sometimes felt like staying hydrated was constant catching up. Now, it’s more just maintaining.
First thing in the morning I chug a tall glass of water. Somehow that’s actually made a healthy difference.
I’m more concerned that something that important is only in the summary. Either I don’t understand how bills are written, granted in a state I don’t live in, or the text was changed but the summary not?
I haven’t eaten enough crayons to be able to fully understand that…
Wait, you guys have retirement accounts?
As Kongar said, I agree, the new car is an suv. Which… Is by and large not great, but also what’s an SUV now?
When I was a kid by parents had one of the original Nissan Pathfinders. The one with the spare wheel that swung away, definitely 4wd, and so forth. OJ Simpson ran from the cops in a white Bronco.
Those were SUVs. Today’s monster Expeditions and Suburbans are SUVs.
At introduction, the Subaru Outback was a station wagon. Now… It’s an SUV? I have a 2022. No, it’s not small, but I have a kid and we use the trunk space and the awd all the time. Winter sucks here, and there are dirt roads. But to me it’s a car. But on paper it’s an SUV.
I am sure there’s a real distinction, but… Next to a Tahoe or a Grand Cherokee it is absulotely not an SUV. It’s a car with awd and a beefy-ish suspension.
