I’m On Observation Duty 6. Who knew spending hours looking at still images would be so fun and unsettling.
I like potatoes.

Most of what I read is fiction. A few years ago I realized I had stopped reading for fun and decided to try and get back into it. At first my goal was 12 books in a year. Then each year I would try and beat my previous number. I kept a log of what I read.
As others have mentioned, audiobooks have been great. I usually listen to them while I’m doing stuff around the house. Checking out ebooks from the library also keeps me going because of the time limit. I try to get through them before they need to be renewed or returned. I guess it has helped me to turn reading into a bit of a game.
Subnautica Below Zero. Been working my way through and enjoying it. I don’t think it has matched the intensity of the first one, but I’m liking the new mechanics and story so far.
Love Triforce. It’s one of the few that I actually manage to keep up do date on.
ToTK and Subnautica for me. Probably also some Roots of Patcha. I’m hopelessly addicted to caveman Harvest Moon.
I keep a physical journal and often do free writing just to get thoughts and ideas out. I usually write in cursive and can’t even read it myself afterwards. For me, the act of taking the time to physically write things down is really helpful to process. I almost never return to what I’ve previously written down, but it feels great to get it out. Brains can be weird.
That’s really cool. Tried to do something similar with my partner, but we didn’t end up sticking with it. We tend to have different reading habits. I like to read one book at a time and he always has a few he’s actively working through. The timing was just always off.
There’s an art festival I’m planning to go to tomorrow. It’s horror, occult, and oddities type of stuff, so it should be fun. Then maybe hanging out with a friend visiting from out of town.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I’ve journaled on and off ever since I was a kid. When I feel myself struggling, I tend to jump back into it. It really helps!
19/24 that was fun
