Nobody has commented on it yet so I will: I see what you did there. I don’t know why it’s there and I’m not sure how to react to it being there but I do see it.

Scientists ruined the fun by finding the real truth: He died of asphyxiation. Then he got hit by the rock.

13·11 days agoI know we already lost both of y’all to the psychosis but for what it’s worth I hope some day you realize making those pictures by hand is both a personalized and transformative expression of yourself and your skills as a human being, even when shitposting – while the AI route is just gambling at the slop-machine illegally trained on all of human creation until it produces something vaguely similar to thing you (or rather OP) admit to not even caring about.

24·12 days agoSee? You managed to take “My plagiarism machine produces only the most ethical slop because it runs on a Macbook” and blow it out to 8 paragraphs presumably without using AI to write it for you. The creative energy was within you all along.
As a “sheeple” i dont know how to tell you this but those are 6 distinct AI generated faces with completely different jawline, headshapes, wrinkles, etc… I mean baa.

16·13 days agoI mean… it literally can. Only ~20 states have their own State Defense Force and the federal government can turn any state’s national guard on its own people. The national guard has been actively leveraged to help ICE brutalize and disappear immigrants and American citizens already.
Also if we were to consume Gavin Newsom, for example, that does not help us get a functional federal government back.

201·13 days agoTbh with the sheer scale of America I doubt even mass starvation will work. The government could probably just keep the states immediately around the capitol sated and leave the rest of the country to die and most people won’t be able to afford travel to the capitol to riot. I bring this up in every thread but to travel from the west coast to Maryland to start a riot is the same distance as traveling from Ireland to Moscow to riot. And we have barely functional trains.
You don’t understand. COVID was an inside job orchestrated globally by Big Plague in order to kill Science.
Honestly I think if GOP were not on a leash here and it was “Medicine” at the table with a reaper lurking quietly behind them it would work better. Whatever the leashed part is implying I either don’t understand or it’s implying an intentional global pandemic conspiracy orchestrated by someone controlling conservatives.
OP sounds like some kind of Homer simp, or perhaps a Homer simp’s son

3·17 days ago? I mean obviously there’s the possibility of it being shopped but there’s no sort order you could do where Borderlands, Dragon Age, and Team Fortress would all be up there mixed in to the Call of Duty players while still showing primarily Call of Duty in the middle of the list.
Judging by the name order it seems like it’s just 1 page of online players and 16 pages of offline players? I would guess maybe it was taken way after the boycott but I dont know the full context.

1·20 days agoMy 2024 Santa Fe is also up there on annoyingly bright headlights list. So many people flashing their brights at me before I’m forced to unleash Ark of the Covenant by flashing my actual brights back. Even the emergency flashers are so darn bright I feel like I can’t use them at night when I’m unloading groceries because it fully illuminates the entire apartment building in front of me a block away. This can’t be a necessary amount of lumens.

People Twitter@sh.itjust.works•It gives real good dads a bad name
724·22 days agoDisagree. It’s just overused and poorly handled. If the story addresses the reasons why the child is neglected such as the father desperately trying to save his son or the future then it can make a good tragedy. Or, if the father was lost in his own work and probably shouldn’t have had his child but that work consumed him then it can be fine as long as it’s not framed as a good thing or that the child must forgive him for seemingly no reason.
The problem is media that screws this trope up and still expects you to forgive the father in the end. Oftentimes writers fail to address why the child couldn’t just join as bonding, or the father is not doing something that important, or the father is just straight up a terrible person and then the writers expect you to turn around and forgive him.
Otherwise it’s a great way to give the child character a prolific character to chase that they themselves don’t know, or create a character torn between two worlds for better and for worse, or create a deadbeat dad character that may or may not be redeemable.
The pineapple pizza discussion always gets me with this. I worked for a pizza company in Portland, Oregon and one of the best foods I’ve ever eaten was a pizza with an oil base, mozzarella, gorgonzola, apple, walnut, and bacon. My partner’s favorite was one they do with peach, brown sugar, and bacon. Off the top of my head theres: Cranberry chicken salad, teriyaki anything, honey ham/turkey/chicken nuggies… BARBECUE. KETCHUP ON BURGERS/HOTDOGS. Meat and sweet together are not this weird foreign concept people pretend it to be.

6·25 days agoYep, was gonna play Marathon until they just never bothered with Linux. Made a dual boot to try the free weekend and it was actually kind of interesting but not enough so that I want to restart my whole PC to play every time.
Apparently the anti-cheat they’re using has even developed a Linux version in the time since Destiny 2 came out but they still opted to be Windows only.

I can only assume someone was hospitalized and they absolutely needed to bring flowers at that exact moment.
