The majority of my steam library and more, so many pre steam games I played ended up not finished. Might be easier to list the finished.

It is mind boggling to me that I share this planet with people so far detached from observable reality. Actually makes me question my own sense of reality. What horrendously blind and ignorant spots do I have.

Groups who throw around the phrase law-and-order, or similar platitudes almost always mean I want authoritarian organizations and I want them enforcing MY groups will against everyone else.

Or more commonly called lick-spittles who slather the biggest strongman’s shoes.

While discouraging and alarming, the fediverse is still pretty fresh territory and there is the opportunity to create a new community/magazine for those un happy with the displacement.

I do find the astro turfing and manipulation to be upsetting and hope there can be safeguards in place amongst the members to keep this from happening elsewhere.

I understand the desire to educate, but this post just reeks of whataboutism. Which by the way is a popular method of normalizing horrible behavior favored by authoritarians and proto-facists.

Understandable but at this stage they are political tools and have been so for decades. It is just now blatantly obvious and if that is going to be the case we need a new system in place to correct it or to mitigate them

Without watching the video, for me Patriotism was always supporting our country striving for improvements and finding pride in our accomplishments while correcting our errors.

Nationalism is just the our country is the best noone else is better and fuck anyone else. Also we never make mistakes and all we do is the beat.
A sort of extremist no thought approach to our country just because we were born here.

Patriotism requires thought nuance and a desire to build a better neighborhood so to speak.

Just my thoughts.

Get fucking real that shit went out of fashion as soon as the USSR fell apart. Get a new boogie man this shit is as old and tired as a b-movie foam rubber suit thats showing zippers and tears.

No branch of Government should be above reproach, and to have these judges not beholden to an outside agency regarding ethical behavior is antithetical to a corruption free government. This current status erodes if not completely destroys any credible authority or respect the supreme court has.

Care to elaborate more on that?

I mean this case according to some who have a law background have called into question the standing on which this case was even brought forward. The initial request of the so called web developer does not even seem to exist as stated. It was an intial inquiry by a straight individual who did not even request a web page designed for a homosexual wedding. Nor has the individual who may or may not have made the offending request been a party to the case other than in name. The so called web developer also seems to have a questionable existence as they seem so deeply intermeshed with a religious conservative activist group that they seem part of the same entity. And could at a slightly closer look seen to be just a front entity for such activist group to trigger such a lawsuit.

The court should have passed on this case and it should have gone back down to a lower court and standing should have been better established. This case was just put together to create this type of ruling in a favorable court. Not a pursuit of justice or a clarifying of rights.
I am not a lawyer, and I know next to nothing about the law but this case stinks to high heaven.

Every accusation seems to be a projection from the right wing. They claim an agenda from their targets so that when they are accused of an agenda they can point to their own claims and say “We are just responding”
It also seems that their imagination is so limited; that when they are pressed to create something their opponents would do, they use one of their own actions or desires.

Also if their own actions or desires are so awful when projected onto their opponents; what does that say about them.

Even the hint of impropriety, or impartiality should be enough to cause a justice to recuse themselves or at the very least cause an issue with them sitting for a trial in which they have some connection.
To have justices not abiding by that concept almost eliminates any authority or respect that the institution holds, and calls into question any ruling the court has had since these jokers were seated.

Might as well just abandon the law and just go with might makes right rules, and fuck all this civilized stuff!
We as a general people have been spending centuries trying to get away from that shit so we can prosper, fuckers want to go back to lords and petty tyrants!
