  • Unfortunately the way voters are spread out the Republicans have sort of a natural gerrymander. The cities tend to be grouped together in Big Blocks of democratic voters and the countryside is very spread out Republican.

    I know Arizona passed a law taking away the drawing of legislative districts from lawmakers and giving it to an independent commission, here in Michigan we did the same thing later on in 2018. From when they gerrymandered it after 2010 until that time it was solidly Republican House and Senate.
