Language is descriptive, not prescriptive. The “correct” way to speak is the way that is understood.

Hence, the kinda in my original comment.

Giving fascists any opportunity to espouse their views is giving them a platform. The only “debate” a fascist deserves is a bullet.

hell yeah, one of my favorite King Gizz albums, and with probably their sickest album art.
Your setup is great too! The bar looks really good, and gruvbox ties it all together really nicely.

edit: actually it makes sense. Gut the workforce, funnel that money straight into the pockets of Mr. Inauguration-Sieg-Heil.
My main distro these days is Gentoo, but I definitely feel the same. I’ll write an ebuild anytime it’s feasible, and Gentoo has some pretty great tools for helping me keep up with updates for things.
I usually spin up a distrobox container of Arch for anything I need that I don’t want to, or can’t compile myself. Both CLI and GUI programs work, and you can use podman as the backend.

There is no Planet B.
I went there last year! They’ve got a lil museum and gift shop inside, and a pretty decent self-guided walking tour around some excavated buildings.
In addition to destroying the Māori village that was there, the tourist settlement nearby, and killing most of the inhabitants of both, the eruption destroyed most of, and buried the rest of the Pink and White Terraces, formed by hot springs
Here are some photos I took while I was there:
Newspaper replica about the eruption:
Māori dirge sung for those who lost their lives:
Diorama of the Terraces:
Excavated hut:
I took about a hundred photos that day, so lemme know if anyone wants to see more!
and an 1884 painting of the terraces, by Charles Blomfield can be seen here
