First time, between 14 and 15, Sophomore in HS and was dating a Junior (we’ve been dating for a couples months). Same! I love the WFH model. No one bothers me, I get more work done, and I don’t have to waste gas and time.

One of my kids is a sophomore in high school (we live in FL unfortunately), she wants to be a vet but we will probably be looking to other states to send her to college. Political climate down here is ridiculous right now.

The beauty gets old when the political climate down here is so chaotic and the heat is scorching.

Living in FL has been hard, between the insane temperatures and seeing DeSantis do whatever he wants.

I had a great email inbox, organized with tags, was able to read every email daily. Then I got married and my fucking wife used my email address for stupid shit at random stores and now it’s all spam.

Everyone is the asshole in this situation. They’re your kids and your responsibility not your family’s. If there was a discussion BEFORE the trip about helping out so you and your spouse can have time off it would be different.

My career path in customer service started as I desperately needed a job during the summer after High School ended. One of my coaches was a manager at a Valet company and got me the job ($4.20 p/h + tips). Now I work for a financial firm doing internal customer service making ~$27 p/h. Nothing special but it pays the bills and I get to work from home.
