Anyway, Bug Man out of nowhere not only easily putting Yoru on the back foot and making her beg for Denji’s help is so funny because it implies that despite all the horrible things happening in the universe, bugs are still so feared that War itself is struggling.

I wonder if Yoru will mirror the same actions Denji took to avoid hurting as few people (devils) as possible. But based on the fact that she has another ace in the FUCKING MOON, something tells me she will have less of a controlled reaction.

I often get whiplash from seeming Fujimoto’s art in the movie illustrations vs the manga.

I love Denji here! Besides being smart, but his joy is shinning through! Black Pochita’s body being destroyed and Denji being inside it is cute but also symbolic visual of his new found self realization (well, on-screen). His new transformation just adds on to it. Denji’s normal Chainsaw form on top of Pochita, a perfect combo of the two. Yoru apologizing to a random devil is very funny but accurate to her new found “power of friendship”. I loved this chapter!

Only the power of the state of Michigan could rival Chainsaw Man!

What a great movie. The animation was amazing and the soundtrack is just stuck in my head. I really like how everything flowed together despite cuts to different characters from time to time. That ending was very nicely done. I would watch it again!

One can say this was obvious but we take every victory we can get. You can be too sure.

Denji is trying is hardest to get the life he wants. Now, will Your allow that? No, duh. But, Pochita got my boys back! Let Denji be happy, PLEASE.

Not Yoru with the Makima plan but California instead of Japan. Also, she finally makes a weapons that’s just a sword varient. I wonder why Asa wants her mom is badly. I mean, I kind of get it so maybe it isn’t that deep.

Besides that, love to have inner thoughts of Denji and Asa together. Weird how the sky door thing is not a Darkness Devil exclusive. Guess any strong enough devil will do. Also, Yoru did the pose she did when she said she wanted nuclear weapons way back in the early chapters!

I’m think next chapter will be shots of them fightings interspliced with shots of them talking in that inner thoughts space. Could be a nice contrast between what they really feel and want vs what they are forced to do.

Skipping the whole fight and went straight for the kill. Denji was done bro. Although, it seems the bigger foe is going to bring back some bad memories. It does feel nice at least he cared for Yoshida.
