I’d love more numbers on energy density because I suspect this might be truly awful in that regard to the point that it probably isnt worth the cost savings from cheap materials. Plus the not inconsiderable mechanical wear this will have.

I suspect at some point someone will work out cathedral sized towers of concrete is just not worth it vs LFP or sodium batteries and a grid forming inverter on the same footprint with a lot more energy density.

It’s impressive how poorly band camp has been run given it has such an easy business model of being a middleman for music folks.

I find myself to be a bit of a contradiction with hot weather as I don’t do well in the heat at all and struggle when it gets over 25 but at the same time I love it as it means its nice enough to spend lots of time outside doing all sorts of things which I love and this is harder to do in winter. Plus I find all the layers I have to wear in winter annoying. Give me shorts and T-shirt any day.

I’ve gotta say i dont mind the idea of web search in my search bar I’d just like to be able to choose the search engine and have it activate with a separate hotkey vs on machine search. Like just pressing Meta for search and then something like Meta + S to enable the internet functionality on search.
