Yeah, seriously. I don’t think I heard that from anybody.

What do you need a mousepad for? Do you have a glass desk?
Why aren’t they produced anymore? I imagine it would be possible to have something similar manufactured for way less.
Or is it something about poisonous substances inside or something?
Have you ever held a magnet up to them? They might just be aluminum coated to prevent what’s shown in the image.
There are a few manufacturers that make magnetic case fan filters and such, that wouldn’t make sense if most cases were full aluminum.
Maybe you still had aluminum cases, but then they were probably also rather expensive, because it’s more difficult to manufacture in that thickness without being brittle.

Right? I imagine with a bit of work, some people would use that.
Uh… PC cases are still mostly steel. Maybe not carbon steel, but also not high marine grade stainless.
Lian Li is the only manufacturer I know of to make aluminum cases and they’re freaking expensive.
What do you mean by “support”? Flatpak is in the official repository and has been for a while.
You may also consider the backports repository for common software such as office and maybe your DE/tools.
Otherwise, I’ve used a T60 with Libreboot myself for years and it still worked fine for general purpose stuff, but then the CCFL display lighting went dead. It’s not TFT, unfortunately, so they don’t last as long.

Imagine scheduling your tasks to Uranus.
You can get a projector, they’re usually as dumb as they come.
You know, a few decades ago I’ve heard people joke about physical media only becoming download codes in the box or cars requiring software updates to drive, so you better believe this is exactly where we’re headed.

One more here. I use it, because it has a builtin pitch shifter, which I need for playing guitar to.
What are the quirks btw.?

Google Docs basically crawls everything you type into it and uses it to profile you. It’s in their TOS.
I think that’a pretry bad, but that’s what you get for using a free service, you’re paying with your personal information (and possibly that of others).
I can’t deny it has some useful functionality, but I just don’t need most of it personally. I don’t think you need it for 99% of your usual work.

Dude, I have a huge CD collection, probably around 300-350. How rich am I?

Maybe “visits” would have been the better term, I don’t think a lot of babies visit Wikipedia every month.

The problem comes when there are no more non-AI fridges around and people start mocking you for building your own dumb fridge, you weirdo.
That’s usually how it goes.
I like the way this Genie is portrayed as an example of omnipotence without omniscience.
He reads the news and hates trump all the same, but will he go around asking who else wants to take over Greenland?
:/
