I feel like it was a similar experience in the earlier days of torrenting. Nowadays it still happens but only from less reputable torrents. Though also it’s been years since I ever torrented music. These days almost everything is online for download or can be downloaded or captured from a streaming service.

I only ever used uTorrent back when I started torrenting and years later I moved on to qbittorrent, which I still use today.

When trying to learn more you have to approach certain subjects with a lot of care. Something which you probably haven’t been doing or doing very well if you’ve been accused of being a transphobe a lot. I’m not saying there aren’t awful people who throw those accusations around, I’ve certainly met a few, but the majority are not like that, so if you have been called a transphobe a lot you’ve probably not been approaching the subject with care and sensitivity.

Also almost if not all allies are cisgender, that’s what an ally is it’s someone who isn’t part of the group who is advocating for the rights and safety of the group. Honestly saying that cis people won’t be allies is nonsense.

I’m not surprised that would make someone angry, as someone agender who does identify with the femboy experience it did make me a bit angry, especially when people said it made me a girl (egg prime directive wasn’t practiced much back then). Denial was never a thing I went through, ever, I am indeed happy and comfortable with being called a boy, even though I’m not really. I still say I’m a femboy because that describes my experience of dressing up and being cute. Doesn’t mean I am a boy.

You don’t, no one really does. The idea that you have to is a lie. Be whatever gender you want, whenever gender you want. You’re not restricted, anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar and a gatekeeper.
