MPI is notoriously bad for this sort of thing. All you can really do is stay on their case. I called them daily for over a month once before they finally got sick of me and did something.

Say what you will about private insurance, at least this sort of thing is handled better.

VPN Linux client is still barely functional years later…

Interac AFAIK used to be a nonprofit, but few years back became a for profit corporation. While I’m happy for the option, I’d stick with paper/metal where possible if CCs weren’t a thing.

Credit cards are the issue for me. An unnecessary third party skimming money (not to mention data) out of every transaction we make.

I can’t NOT use them though, since the cash back can be too good to pass up. If credit cards were regulated into irrelevance I’d be almost 100% on cash.

What about the pedals?

Mainly this, alongside a cost of living crisis not unique to Canada. Other concern is there is some animous towards immigrants as poor immigration policy is a part of why housing is where it is. Sadly, I’m not sure I’d feel welcome as an immigrant in Canada right now (perhaps more so for Indian/Pakistani immigrants, but still).

Avoid Canada, or at least Toronto/Vancouver. Country is not in a great state atm.

Knowing myself and my high school at 16, I gotta disagree. I’m sure there are a good number of responsible 16yos out there, but there’s a lot more that don’t respect the gravity of what they’re doing.

I would have absolutely voted for whoever was stupidest for the meme, as would many of my friends.
