I’m in act 2 and think this game is generally better than hollow knight. Game has some hard bosses (I think widow kicked my ass like 10 times) but you have so much utility with hornet with tools and aerial mobility, plus different crest movesets, this game just feels better to play.

I think a lot of the difficulty complaints are people who are i frame spoiled. I have to actually space unlike with hollow knight where face tanking and down spell I framing is king

There are some annoying moments, some of the run backs do suck ass (lies of p did this right, just put a damn bonfire right before the boss).

Losing rosaries early game does suck but it gets less annoying with the enemies in act 2. It makes sense story wise too but idk I feel like it would help if bosses dropped a few

While it seems you typically grow a partial tolerance with constant caffeine consumption which avoids the blood pressure spike ie with moderate caffeine consumption. Anything higher you start to get into moderate overdose territory which can bring back blood pressure spiking and other symptoms.

I’m sure sugar is doing most of the damage but caffeine is contributing as well.

I just want to emphasize that I don’t think caffeine is evil or nothing just that you probably shouldn’t be drinking 600-800 mgs of it

2 feels like a perfection of the formula and the initial death scene is the best in the series

5 is fun and having the kill rule front and center was a nice change of pace. The full circle ending is a nice love letter to the series

6 Adding a new wrinkle with the family rule was cool, the MRI scene was brutal. A lot of the other kills were pretty boring tbh
