Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•California Wants to Put License Plates on E-Bikes and Slow Them Down. Cyclists Are Not Happy About ItEnglish
1·2 days agoMeh, Bikes up to 25km/h don’t require anything here. Anything faster needs a license plate and has stricter rules (like having to wear a helmet, needing a driving license, …)
I don’t mind drawing the line somewhere. Up to a certain point the speeds just become much more dangerous for everyone possibly involved.

43·3 days agoIt might be a nice controller, but how desperate can you be buying it from a scalper knowing it’ll be back in stock soon?

Gaming@beehaw.org•Steam is basically a PC gaming monopoly, so why isn’t anyone mad?English
11·16 days agoThat’s a common misconception.
Many games are DRM free and run without Steam. This even includes Valve games such as Half-Life 2.

Google actually just patented a system where an algorithm decides that your web page is boring and generates a new one on the fly.
Of course it is, you can see her controlling it wirelessly.
Unless you mean “connected to the Internet”, which has nothing to do with the ability to hack it.
